And here comes another wonderful Christmas... Another time to celebrate, to give and to receive, to forgive, to believe... I really guess that in these times of consumerism, the accent is on give and receive. What? Love, care, tenderness? Now, folks, don't be naive :)) Presents, of course. Is love a tangible present? Something one can put in a box? Of course not... You have to prove it by buying something quite expensive and luxurious to your belove, right/ So, my darlings, attack the supermarkets, the malls and find something nice, something desired, a dress, a ring, a necklace. BUY, BUY, BUY, BUY. You don't have the money? BORROW them. The main thing about Christmas is to BUY THE WHOLE WORLD, right?
And thus we forget... we forget that some 2000 years ago, a man that probably changed our entire perception of life and death, of wealth and poverty, was being born in the most humble place in Bethlehem, a stable. No electricity, no roasted turkey on the table, no pudding, no pie.
There was a small group that witnessed his birth, people that really mattered. Shepherds, because he was to become a "shepherd" for humans, his human "parents", the angels, who were heavenly emissaries and in the end, the three Magi.
And as years pass, we forget. We forget to give to persons that really matter and to give things that really matter. I'm going to post a small Romanian carol, a modern Romanian carol, written by a person I really admire, Ada Milea. It's called "It's Snowing". And I'm going to translate it for you, maybe you'll find it interesting.

Lovely pauses you take - lovely pauses to ponder and then to share - thank you.
