Forbidden Love

As for this one, I made it for a contest on Deviant Art, which was called Secret Love/ Forbidden Love. There was a section for Secret Love and respectively one for Forbidden Love. I went for the "uncharted" teritory of forbidden love.
I tried to give to my work an air of old rock glamour. I wanted to make it more shocking and violent first, but after I had been working on it for some time, I realized that this was the best choice.
I wanted to suggest the idea of unfortunate melange, of liaison that is both unwanted and impossible to break. Hope u like it.

This is my latest work. It's a gothic-inspired piece. Actually it's more of a study of mine, an exercise, than a true work. I tried to combine traditional art with digital art. ( Photoshop CS).

I guess we're all somehow obsessed with the supernatural. It's in our nature to be drawn to something that we cannot fully understand with our sense and sensibility. I feel particularly attracted to angels (light or dark). And this is one of the best works that I've done that centers on such unique creatures.
